Carol Ann writes about the things she knows; her home in the Ozarks and stories her family told. She has also written children’s books under the name Rowan Wood.

Q writes books based in an alternate universe. His fictional town of Willow Creek seems to attract all kinds of fantastical and magical activity. But it doesn’t stop there: from the Scottish Highlands to the Amazon Rain Forest, Q’s characters find themselves in all manner of surprising situations.
